Did you know? When it rains heavily, beware of slippery roads.

When it rains freshly, the roads become extremely slippery because the mix of rainwater with dust and dirt particles creates a muddy surface, making it more slippery than usual and potentially causing loss of control.

✅ Recommended actions:

  • Turn on your headlights for better visibility.
  • Increase the distance between your car and the one in front.
  • Reduce your speed to no more than 60 km/h.
  • ⚠️ Caution! Do not speed when it’s raining as it can lead to hydroplaning, where your tires lose traction with the road and you lose control.
