“Bangkok Metropolitan” is preparing to launch the “Win Motorcycle App – Taxi EV Boat” service starting this July 2024. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of motorcycle taxis and push forward the Taxi EV Boat project to serve tourist routes in the Bang Lamphu Canal – Ladprao Canal area. Mr. Tharathip Techagijakij, Managing Director of Bangkok Metropolitan Company Limited (KTC), mentioned that the company currently has several new projects in development, including the Win Motorcycle application project. This application is specifically designed to support and elevate the quality of motorcycle taxi services for comprehensive coverage and benefits to both Bangkok residents and motorcycle taxi drivers. The main application service providers have been identified, and it is expected to commence general service within July 2024.
Additionally, the Taxi EV Boat project aims to establish water routes for general transportation and tourism, such as the Bang Lamphu Canal and Ladprao Canal, utilizing electric boats to assist environmental conservation. It is expected to begin as a pilot project in July 2024. The BKK Chat AI response system, which caters to various public service inquiries on a daily basis, is also in development. It is anticipated to commence initial testing with internal agencies in Bangkok in August 2024.
